Путешествие по Марокко в 2026 году (Касабланка, Фес, Марракеш) / Trip to Morocco 2026 (Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech)
Last week, I spent in Morocco. It was my first visit to this fascinating country.
It began in Casablanca, where I facilitated a workshop, Anti-Fragile Leadership During Uncertain Times, for 90 C-level executives.
We explored the latest research and global leadership trends, including one striking insight: the role of a CEO has changed more over the past year than it did during the previous 25 years.
The key question for leaders today is: How do we remain stable in an increasingly unstable world?
My belief is that having a strong sense of meaning and purpose is one of the few things that helps us stay grounded amid global uncertainty. Using Robert Dilts’ Logical Levels model, we worked through a business case simulation to demonstrate exactly that.
After two days in Casablanca — and an unforgettable Robbie Williams concert at the Jazzablanca Festival — I travelled to Fez.
Fez is a truly unique ancient city, with a medieval atmosphere unlike anywhere else I have been.
For me, it is also deeply connected to my favourite band, U2.
I stayed at Riad El Yacout, the hotel that U2 booked exclusively for two weeks in 2007 while recording No Line on the Horizon — in my view, the most profound and mature album they have ever created.
In the riad’s beautiful octagonal courtyard, with its fountain at the centre, they recorded No Line on the Horizon, Magnificent, Moment of Surrender, Unknown Caller, Fez-Being Born, and White as Snow.
And there I was, standing in the very place where some of my favourite songs were born…
A truly magnificent feeling.
My journey ended in Marrakech, a city with a completely different energy — vibrant, colourful, and full of life.
Morocco turned out to be a journey not only across cities, but also across leadership, music, and history. These are the kinds of trips that stay with you long after you return home.

Succeed Together Training Program for Exness / Тренинг ‘Succeed Together’ для Exness
Same place, same client, same training — with my partner Anna Sorokina — one year later 😊
Yesterday, we facilitated the Succeed Together workshop for the Global HR Team of Exness, one of the world’s leading fintech companies in Cyprus. This was the fourth time we have delivered this program for the client.
The team came together from three locations — Cyprus, Malaysia, and Uruguay — and represented an even broader mix of cultures, with participants originally from Cyprus, Malaysia, Uruguay, the United States, South Africa, and Argentina.
At its core of this program are practical cross-cultural communication tools, which are especially valuable in an organization that brings together more than 90 nationalities.
In addition to working with The Culture Map, we ran several simulations that allowed the team to apply the SCARF and SCORE models to real workplace situations.
By the end of the workshop, the team had developed:
• a SWOT analysis of their collaboration;
• a Team Charter with clear DOs and DON’Ts;
• a practical roadmap for implementing new cross-cultural communication tools and principles.
What I particularly appreciate is working with organizations that take a systemic approach to developing cross-cultural competence. Sustainable change happens not through a single workshop, but through continuous practice, shared language, and intentional habits. Communication Workshop at Matena Business School / Воркшоп по коммуникации в бизнес-школе Matena
I’ve just returned to Cyprus from Dilijan, Armenia, where I facilitated a one-day workshop, Mastering Influence: Trust, EQ, and the Art of Communication.
The workshop was part of the two-days bootcamp Selling from the Top: How a Leader’s Communication Drives Business Growth, organized by Matena International School of Leadership and Professional Development and co-facilitated with Remi Smolinski.
During my session, we explored the foundations of effective communication, including:
➡️ Understanding how the brain works and learning to shift into the observer position;
➡️ Understanding and managing emotions;
➡️ Building rapport;
➡️ Asking powerful open-ended questions and practicing active listening;
➡️ Connecting with others at the level of values;
➡️ Identifying and transforming limiting beliefs;
➡️ Shifting the focus from problems to solutions;
➡️ Delivering constructive feedback;
➡️ Mastering cross-cultural communication, and more.
We had more than 20 leaders from the banking and finance, telecommunications, fashion and retail, marketing, and sales sectors.
As always, it was a true pleasure to teach at Matena. A big thank you to Ruben Hayrapetyan and Lilit Gyulgyulyan for inviting me back to beautiful Dilijan, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to deliver leadership programs.
Уикэнд в Берлине на концерте Metallica

Ездил с сыном Мартином в Берлин на концерт Metallica. Мартину сейчас 14, он давно мечтал попасть на их концерт, но я не сразу понял, что тур M72 очень необычный (об этом позже) и на него точно стоит сходить. Когда сообразил года полтора назад, то на тот момент тур уже закончился.

Я очень жалел, что мы не съездили. И вот, чуть больше года назад Metallica объявили, что тур продолжится и в 2026 году, четвёртый год подряд. Чтобы купить билеты на предварительной продаже, пришлось вступить в фанклуб 🙂
В день открытия предпродажи билетов для фанклуба провёл за компьютером в онлайн-очереди Ticketmaster несколько часов. В итоге удалось купить Golden Circle зону у сцены. Билеты были раскуплены за считаные часы. Потом было ожидание длиною в год.
29 мая 2026, пятница
И вот день пришёл, когда мы вдвоём полетели в Берлин (девочкам, естественно, это было не интересно). Прилетели около 7 вечера. На экспрессе домчали на Potsdamer Platz. ICF Cyprus Chapter’s 1st Mediterranean Leadership & Coaching Summit
Last week, we hosted the ICF Cyprus Chapter’s 1st Mediterranean Leadership & Coaching Summit at Amathus Limassol.
It was a great success, with 140 participants in the room and renowned speakers including Marilyn Atkinson, Founder & President of Erickson Coaching International; Eliza Tsolakou of the International Coaching Federation; Sandra Da Silva; Niki Smirni; and Panayiotis Thrasyvoulou.
We also hosted a panel on AI and the future of leadership, featuring Demetris Skourides, Frank Kolpasky, Andrey Kostyuk, Fouad Chaarani, and Anastasia Yuryeva, moderated by Natalia Kardash.
Two workshops on mastering self-regulation and leadership styles were delivered by Gala Grigoreva and Tatiana Kolombet.
