Three trainings on Strategic Thinking & Effective Change Strategies in Armenia

I spent last week in Yerevan and Dilijan delivering three trainings on Strategic Thinking & Effective Change Strategies.
⠀
I was invited by Matena International School of Leadership and Professional Development to lead their summer bootcamp, work with the Ministry of Economy leadership team, and collaborate with ACX International executives. Together we:
⠀
✅ Explored strategic tools for seeing the bigger picture in life and business;
✅ Discussed the psychology of change and why change projects often fail;
✅ Reviewed top change management models and the role of communication;
✅ Worked on shifting limiting beliefs and building empowering values.
⠀
A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at Matena — Ruben Hayrapetyan, Tigran Mnatsakanyan, Lilit Gyulgyulyan, Alina Ktoyan, Gayane Muradyan. You took such wonderful care of me throughout the week, and I truly felt at home!

It was also a joy to see Nana Hovhannisyan, my dear friend and colleague from the International Coaching Federation and Erickson Coaching International. Thank you for the excursion around Yerevan and for taking me to Etchmiadzin Cathedral and Museum — an experience that will always stay in my heart.

And a special thanks to my fellow Rotarians Ashot Karapetyan and Hayk Manassian from Rotary International in Armenia. I truly appreciated your hospitality and your fascinating insights into the history of the region.

Три тренинга по «Стратегическому мышлению и управлению изменениями» в Армении

Прошлую неделю я провёл в Ереване и Дилижане, где провёл три тренинга по Стратегическому мышлению и управлению изменениями (change management).

По приглашению Matena International School of Leadership and Professional Development, я провёл летний буткемп для лидеров, поработал с руководством Министерства экономики и руководителями ACX International. Вместе мы:

✅ Изучали стратегические инструменты, которые помогают видеть более широкую картину в жизни и бизнесе;

✅ Обсуждали психологию изменений и причины, по которым проекты по управлению изменениями часто терпят неудачу;

✅ Рассматривали ключевые модели управления изменениями и роль коммуникации;

✅ Работали над ограничивающими убеждениями и формулированием ценностей.

От всей души благодарю замечательную команду Matena — Ruben Hayrapetyan, Tigran Mnatsakanyan, Lilit Gyulgyulyan, Alina Ktoyan, Gayane Muradyan. Вы так заботились обо мне всю неделю, что я чувствовал себя как дома!

Также было большой радостью встретиться с Nana Hovhannisyan, моей замечательной коллегой по International Coaching Federation и Erickson Coaching International. Спасибо за экскурсию по Еревану и за то, что показала мне Эчмиадзинский кафедральный собор и музей — это очень мощные впечатления.

The training Succeed Together for 12 Culture Ambassadors

Last week, Anna Sorokina and I led a two-day training for one of the leading IT companies in Cyprus.

The training focused on one of the company’s core values — Succeed Together — which requires outstanding communication skills and multicultural collaboration (98 (!) nationalities work in the company with operations across 5 continents).
⠀
We worked with a group of 12 Culture Ambassadors — managers selected by their peers as leaders in promoting the company’s corporate culture.
⠀
Over the course of two days, we covered:
⠀
✅ SWOT analysis
✅ The SCARF model of communication
✅ Robert Dilts’ SCORE model for problem-solving
✅ Erin Meyer’s Culture Map — with deep dives into the scales of Communicating, Evaluating, and Comfort with Silence
✅ Creating group communication guidelines — Do’s and Don’ts

It was a great honor and a true pleasure to facilitate training for such a forward-thinking, multinational company.
⠀
We’re excited to continue with the next session in a few weeks — this time for the company’s teams in Asia.

Тренинг «Succeed Together» для 12 Culture Ambassadors

На прошлой неделе мы с Анной Сорокиной провели в Лимассоле двухдневный тренинг для одной из ведущих IT-компаний Кипра.

Тренинг был посвящён одному из ключевых принципов компании — Succeed Together («Добиваться успеха вместе»), который требует поистине выдающихся коммуникативных навыков и эффективного взаимодействия в очень сложной мультикультурной среде — в офисах компании на пяти континентах работают представители 98 (!) национальностей.

Мы работали с группой из 12 Culture Ambassadors — менеджеров, которых коллеги выбрали как лидеров в продвижении корпоративной культуры.

В течение двух дней мы разобрали:

✅ SWOT-анализ

✅ Модель коммуникации SCARF

✅ Модель решения проблем SCORE Роберта Дилтса

✅ Culture Map Эрин Майер — подробно рассмотрели шкалы: Communicating, Evaluating и Comfort with Silence

✅ Формирование правил коммуникации группы — Do’s and Don’ts

Для нас было большой честью и радостью провести тренинг для такой прогрессивной и мультинациональной компании, мы получили огромное удовольствие.

С нетерпением ждем продолжения — через несколько недель следующая сессия пройдёт для офисов компании в Азии.

A trip to Corfu (Greece)😎☀️🏝⛱🌊

A trip to Corfu (Greece) to celebrate Dmitri Babiner‘s 50th birthday — my friend since the St. Petersburg Ernst & Young days — completely switched me into vacation mode 😜

First of all, I haven’t seen anything as stunning as Corfu in a long time. The views from the villa and the days we spent cruising on a yacht were absolutely breathtaking.
⠀
Second, it’s been ages since I’ve been in the same place with so many friends and colleagues. People came from London, New York, Dubai, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Portugal, Oman, and Cyprus. Some I hadn’t seen in 4 years, some in 14, and with some I just connected for the first time.
⠀
The sheer concentration of talented, open-minded, and brilliant people was just amazing! Naturally, it led to conversations going until 4 a.m., poker games, and Aperol flowing like there’s no tomorrow…
⠀
Long story short — the photos and videos from this magical trip say it better than any words.
⠀
